Frequently Asked Questions
Can I have open liquor in the car?
Yes. We are licensed to transport open liquor under certain regulations. Please see our Alcohol Policy for more information.
Do you do weddings or special events in other Central Alberta communities like Stettler or Rocky Mountain House? How do you charge for that?
Yes, we frequently provide transportation for weddings and many other events throughout Central Alberta. Please see our pricing page for how we charge for our services when traveling to communities other than Red Deer.
We want to rent a 10 or 14 passenger limo, can we squeeze an extra person or two in if they are small?
No. This is illegal and unsafe. Our vehicles are rated for a specific weight capacity and have only enough seatbelts to accomodate our approved occupancy rating. Additional safety features can be found on our fleet details page.
Do you have car seats?
Yes, car seats can be provided for the back of the limos when asked for in advance.
Do you have party buses?
No, we feel buses are potentially dangerous to clients. Buses are also uncomfortable and lack the elegance, luxury, and style offered by a limousine.
What happens if our event gets cancelled?
We will make every effort to rent the limo you had reseved. However, if we are unable to do that your deposit is forefeited. In certain situations, such as a temporary postponement, we will transfer your booking to the new date.
Why don't you offer red carpet service?
Red carpet services provided by limousine companies are typically tacky, it is not the red carpet of the movies and award shows. Usually it's a dirty 4'x6' mat that's rolled up in the back of the limo. This service forces clients to wait on either end of the ride while the driver takes the time to lay the mat out before clients enter or exit the limo. On top of all this, the mat is not taped down on the corners and sides, as required by insurance policies, and this presents a tripping hazard to clients getting in and out of the limo.
What happens if we need the limo longer than we thought?
We do not book runs tightly back to back (especially for weddings). On your important day it's not about "the car's time is running out." Instead, we can offer you the extra time you might need by keeping our schedule flexible. (Dresses on wedding days do split, people will run late.) This is part of our service committment to you.
What do people do in a limo?
Just about everything and anything. Renting a limo is meant to be a treat for you. Chauffeured transportation is the ultimate statement in luxury and style. Sit back, relax, and let us do the driving for you. Most people automatically think of drinking in the backs of limos, and this certainly occurs frequently, but a limo is more than just a rolling bar. It's an intimate setting where you and close friends or family can share experiences, laugh together, and have a memorable time.
Can we eat or smoke in your limos?
Eating is not usually allowed but special arrangements can be made.. Smoking is strictly forbidden by provincial law. People have allergies, it can damage the interior of the car, and it's a health risk.
How do I know the limo I rent will be clean?
All of our vehicles are detailed between trips. We will not rent a limousine out for a party function the night before a wedding. This ensures that we have sufficient time to address any housekeeping issues created by inebriated clients. Our vehicles are also stored indoors so the interiors are given the opportunity to breathe. This eliminates the "wet dog" smell that can build up in poorly maintained limousines.
